Today, Santiago (my airbnb host) and Joakim (Santiago’s tour guide friend) and I went to the Centre of the World (Equator), the volcanic crater at Pululahua, and ruins that date to pre-Inca but are believed to have been used by the Inca as well. 47 years ago when my sister and I spent the summer in Bolivia, we landed in Quito. I recall the landscape from the plane although the airport was very primitive. Pre-Inca wow. That is really something and really,really old. You are getting a real taste for the country. Suppose you will have to go to work soon. Hope your search for a permanent place to live is going well. Such an adventure. Still wondering about the temperature or are you up high enough that it isn’t too hot.
